Pete Davidson to board Jeff Bezos' next flight into space

Pete Davidson, the comedy actor best known for his appearances on Saturday Night Live, will be one of the few travelling on Jeff Bezos’ next flight to space.

He will be one of six crew members on board the upcoming NS-20 mission set to take off on March 23.

This marks the fourth human flight for Blue Origin’s New Shepard program and the 20th flight in the program’s history.

Joining Pete on the journey will be former Party America CEO Marty Allen, president of Commercial Space Technologies Dr. George Nield, University of North Carolina professor Jim Kitchen, real estate mogul Marc Hagle and his wife and founder of nonprofit SpaceKids Global Sharon Hagle.

Blue Origins said Pete Davidson was an “honorary guest” while the rest were paying customers.

Whether this is for clout or not we don’t know, but who else to take than the most controversial man in the Hollywood press right now.

Since news of his relationship with TV star Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson has been hitting headlines daily.

The couple’s relationship has been particularly dramatised due to Kardashian’s recent divorce to Kanye West.

Liftoff is currently scheduled for 8:30 am CDT/1:30 pm UTC on March 23.

You can watch the live coverage of the launch via Blue Origin’s website.
