The 2025 Porsche Taycan is an update on the automotive brand’s OG electric car.

The refresh on the 2025 Porsche Taycan is testament to automakers like Porsche continually working to boost EV and charging speeds – even on high-performance models.

With a 105 kWh battery, it has a 320 kW charging speed – a 50kW improvement on the former model.

While there are no ‘official’ stats as yet, Porsche claims the 2025 Taycan will be one of the fastest-charging EVs on the road.

It can go from 8 percent to 80 percent charge in an unbelievable 16 minutes.

That makes the 2025 Porsche Taycan one of the fastest-charging EVs for sale in the US.

Those amazing stats are due to more powerful batteries, revised thermal management, a next-gen heat pump, and new suspension.

That’s only one step behind the new EV battery developed by scientists that can charge an electric vehicle in just five minutes.

Moving onto range, it boasts 482 kilometers of range (300 miles) in terrible driving conditions – and up to 585 kilometers (364 miles) in better weather per a review by Inside EVs.

While official stats aren’t available for the newly revealed 2025 Porsche Taycan as yet, we can confirm massive improvements on the original car.

As we already know: cold weather isn’t optimal for battery performance – as revealed by Tesla owners and other EVs.

One bonus is that the maximum recuperation capacity of the 2025 Porsche Taycan while slowing down from high speed.

That’s an increase of more than 30 percent from 290 to up to 400kW.

Even using windshield wipers can have an impact on the range of an EV.

With speed in mind, it’s worth noting that the 2025 Porsche Taycan can go from 0-97 km/h (0-60 mph) in as little as 2.3 seconds.

It also boasts up to 938 horsepower.

Aesthetically, it boasts new front-and rear-end styling with new flatter headlights and taillights.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted with an updated control and display concept.
