This car enthusiast has been reunited with the one-of-a-kind Lamborghini Miura that he owned 53 years ago.
When the team over at We Are Curated discovered the 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400S, they realized they had a personal connection to it.
And despite lying dormant for years, the car was still in great shape.
When its former owner was reunited with his beloved vehicle, he couldn’t believe his eyes.

Lamborghinis are beloved for good reason
Lamborghinis are a staple among the world’s rich and famous.
This Indian billionaire CEO just added a Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato to his already impressive supercar collection.
Plus, our very own Alex Hirschi – aka Supercar Blondie – revealed the incredible tech packed into the Lamborghini Sián, which you can watch in the video above.
But, this Lamborghini superfan, received the ultimate surprise.
We Are Curated discovered a 1971 Lamborghini Miura P400S that had quite the wild back story.
The car had been sitting in a garage since the 90s

It’s safe to say, the car was in immaculate condition, with its red ‘rosso’ shell gleaming under garage lights.
“There’s not many examples left that are this well-preserved”, one of the team members said when he went to view the supercar.
In fact, the owner had been the holder of the car since 1979 and had only put 1500-2500 miles on it – so it was almost as good as new when it was snapped up all those years ago.
After sourcing the Lamborghini it was time for a special reunion
“We’re 99 percent sure this was a car that my father purchased at one point,” they said.
“It’s got some very rare options,” he continued.
In fact, the V-12-powered car was supposedly the only one in that specification for the USA, according to the We Are Curated YouTube team.
John Temerian Sr couldn’t believe his eyes

Once John Temerian Sr was reunited with the supercar, he was quite literally lost for words.
He almost immediately noticed small details that had been altered over the years.
Aside from being completely impressed with the word ‘wow’ falling out of his mouth every few minutes, he noticed some aspects of the Lamborghini relic had undergone a fair bit of change.
For one, the wing mirrors used to be chrome according to John, and under the shell, a few aspects had changed over time too.
Ultimately though, he was absolutely amazed at the original interior labelling it ‘unreal’ and a ‘survivor’.
“It’s nice to see,” he said as he revealed it was bringing back memories.
