This is a big moment for electric vehicles as every manufacturer in the world is trying to introduce new EVs on a regular basis.
From the long-awaited Cybertruck to offerings from brands you wouldn’t expect, let’s have a look at some of the hotly-anticipated electric vehicles for 2024.
7. Tesla Cybertruck

If everything goes to plan, Tesla should deliver its first Cybertrucks between late 2023 and early 2024.
The company has been teasing new features and testing several release candidates.
In the meantime, Tesla owners say they’ve received emails regarding the upcoming Cybertruck Delivery Event.
Fingers crossed.
6. Rolls-Royce Spectre
The Spectre was unveiled over a year ago and Rolls-Royce actually had to ramp up production to meet demand.
Despite the hefty $415,000 price tag, Rolls-Royce fans are evidently keen to get their hands on the brand’s first-ever electric car.
Like every other Rolls-Royce, the Spectre is all about luxury, but it’s no slouch.
It is expected to deliver at least 570 horsepower, with a range of 515 km (320 miles).
5. Electric G-Wagen
The G-Wagen is an institution, arguably one of the most recognizable Mercedes vehicles in the world.
The new electric version, known as EQG, is expected to debut next year.
It’ll have four engines, one for each wheel, in order to make it four-wheel drive.
There’s not much else we know about it, but the G-Class isn’t cheap, and the electric version will probably be even more expensive.
After all, EVs are hardly ever cheaper than their gas equivalents.
4. Cadillac Celestiq and Escalade EV
The upcoming Escalade EV will soon join the majestic Celestiq as part of Cadillac’s attempt to get back to its former glory.
The Celestiq is an amazing coupe / sedan that prioritizes luxury over anything else.
However, if they want to make it in the EV domain, Cadillac knew they had to electrify their best-selling and most popular model, the mighty Escalade.
Both EVs are expected to debut in 2024, and the price tag will be eye-watering.
The Escalade will start somewhere north of $130,000 and the Celestiq – you might want to grab a seat for this – will cost $340,000.
3. Lotus Eletre
The Evija hypercar marked the start of a new era for Lotus.
The British automaker, once famous for its simple and lightweight sports cars, is now rebranding as an EV-only manufacturer.
The Lotus Eletre will be produced in China but sold worldwide.
The entry-level model comes in with 600 horsepower and 506 km (315 miles) of range.
Meanwhile, the high-performance model promises at least 900 horsepower.
2. Porsche Macan EV
When Porsche unveiled the Taycan, its first EV, they immediately said the Macan would be next.
It’s still unclear whether the current gas-powered Macan will be discontinued or whether it will be sold alongside the Macan EV.
But one thing that’s certain is an electric Macan is coming.
It’ll use an upgraded and Porsche-modified version of the Rimac-sourced battery pack that also powers the Taycan, and it’ll be just as powerful.
The range-topping Taycan puts out 769 horsepower, and we expect the Macan to deliver between 400 and 600 hp depending on how you spec it.
1. Apple EV
Apple is aiming to disrupt the world of EVs with its first ever car… which we know very little about.
Leaked documents and patents that Apple filed gave us a few hints, though.
Firstly, we know the project is codenamed Titan, even though the finished product will almost certainly be called something else.
Secondly, we know Apple’s EV will be capable of Level 4 autonomy and will run on iOS – literally.
Apple will team up with a third-party to get the battery pack and the ‘engine’, but the software will be engineered in-house.
