A Mercedes Benz G-Class, aka the Mercedes Benz G-Class, recently took on the legendary off-roading location in Moab, Utah in the US.

There it scaled the rocky ‘Hell’s Gate’ path – and it’s no mystery why it’s called that.

However, the off-road-focused SUV climbed it with ease.

The area is known for being one of the most punishing zones on the planet.

However, the footage shows the unmodified G-Class tackling the rocky route like a pro.

It’s pretty satisfying to watch and equally impressive as many heavily modified vehicles has met an unfortunate end on the slippery rocks.

Every variant of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class truck can go anywhere, thanks to its excellent off-road capability.

These include its 4.0L twin-turbocharged V-8 engine.

This is teamed with a 9-speed automatic, sending some serious power to all four wheels.

The G-Wagon remains one of the most in-demand Mercedes-Benz models.

While the current G550 starts at $139,900, the high-performance Mercedes-AMG G63 comes in at $179,000.

In similar news, if proof were needed of just how incredible the Toyota Land Cruiser is – this is it.

A video was posted to Reddit, showing the trusty off-roader driving up an insanely steep slope.

The rate as which the Land Cruiser Prado powers up the incline without losing traction has to be applauded.

It can’t go without mention, though, how much skill and experience the driver must have to pull off such an amazing feat.

They’ve clearly got both in abundance, not to mention a lot of nerve.

Then again we shouldn’t be surprised.

Toyota SUVs are famously capable of anything, especially the Land Cruiser and the Hilux.

It remains to be seen whether the new, upcoming electric Toyotas will be capable of achieving the same things.

Ironically, despite being a pioneer in the world of hybrids with the Prius, Toyota is taking its sweet time developing new EVs, chiefly because it does not necessarily believe that’s the way to go.

In the meantime, they’re still developing new types of engine, including a highly sophisticated hydrogen hybrid engine.

The prototype was produced by leading mobility technology company, AVL Racetech in collaboration with Hungarian HUMDA Lab.

A 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine boasting 405 horsepower and 500 Nm (368 lb-ft) of torque.
