Think of Snoop Dogg and you might think of good music, fur coats and marijuana.

However his announcement on Instagram and X yesterday (17 November) looks set to change that.

The post, in a shock to his fans worldwide, was captioned: “I’m giving up smoke”.

“After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke,” said the wording on the image.

“Please respect my privacy at this time.”

Some speculated it could be a marketing stunt for his cannabis company, Leafs By Snoop while others raised concerns about his health.

“Snoop without smoke is like earth without water,” one said.

Speaking to GQ magazine in 2013, the artist, real name Calvin Broadus, admitted to smoking 80 cannabis joints per day.

While speculation swirls about what’s prompted the sudden change, we’re taking a peek into the wealth and car collection of Snoop Dogg.

He has an estimated net worth of $160 million and a rumored multi-million fortune in crypto.

And he’s not the only rapper to amass millions with Drake, Eminem, Jay-Z and 50 Cent all making bank.

Snoop is the face of West Coast gangsta rap and made over 13.5 album sales but it’s also thanks to his business acumen.

From ads with Burger King to a $10 milllion with Airbnb and a TV show with Martha Stewart and his cannabis lifestyle platform, ‘Merry Jane’.

He’s also made smart investments in video games, cannabis, and organizations including Reddit and Klarna.

Seems money isn’t “the root of all evil” after all.

So how does he spend his fortune?

To quote the man himself: “If the ride is more fly, then you must buy.”

1966 Pontiac Parisienne ‘Lakers Edition’

When the late Kobe Bryant retired from the Lakers in 2016, Snoop gave him his magnificent Lakers-themed yellow-and-purple beauty.

The hood is adorned with some of the team’s greats including Shaq, Magic Johnson and Bryant himself.

The car is fitted with a hydraulic system in the trunk, allowing the riding level to hop.

The work of art was even displayed at the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit.

A decal on the hood shows a picture of Snoop alongside his wife and infant daughter.

It’s emblazoned with the words: “Me and my girls” and “Dogg’s Angels”.

Another creation by Big Slice, it features several interesting decals.

One depicts Snoop, dressed in white and praying surrounded by his family.

This lowrider sits just inches from the road’s surface.

The car brand gifted Snoop this car by way of gratitude.

It’s a popular model owned by a range of celebrities ranging from Dr Dre to Barack Obama.

Using Big Slice again, he had the car lowered, added chrome rims and blacked out the tail-lights and windows.

He also had the word “DUB” plastered all over the windows and trunk.

Big Slice also customized a Rowland Heights Raiders in silver and black with a depiction of him man himself when he was coach.

The inside was fitted with 27 video screens and the MVP in each game would get to play the onboard’ Xbox en route home.
