The Apple iPhone SE 4 is a hot topic – and a leaked roadmap has given us a better idea of when we can get our hands on it.

The document apparently came from finance company, Samsung Securities.

That means we have to take them with a pinch of salt, so bear that in mind.

The leak offers an overview of what could be on the way from Apple hardware until 2027 – and looks like the tech giant might be pretty busy.

As well as the iPhone SE 4, a foldable iPhone, and the Apple AR glasses are on the not-so-distant horizon.

The good news? If the document is to believed, the iPhone SE 4 is coming next year.

A foldable 8-inch iPhone will drop in 2026, with a foldable 20-inch iPad and the AR glasses said to arrive in 2027.

The glasses are surely a rival for the crown of the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses that Mark Zuckerberg was seen using recently.

So what do we know so far about the iPhone SE 4?

Apple is said to be modernizing the iPhone SE line.

The iPhone SE, which dropped in 2022, had a distinctly dated design.

It had huge bezels and a physical home button that Apple users might associate with far earlier smartphone models.

Its successor, the iPhone SE 4, could have an iPhone 16-like design and a Dynamic Island (the pill-shaped area that accommodates camera hardware as well as key ‌iPhone‌ alerts).

This is according to leaker, Majin Bu, who posted about the upcoming mid-ranger on X.

He also said that, unlike the unreleased iPhone 16, the iPhone SE 4 will have a single-lens camera instead of the double.

Apparently, the iPhone SE 4 will also have dimensions similar to the iPhone XR.

In case you are not familiar, the iPhone XR has a 15.5 cm (6.1 inch) screen like the iPhone 15.

However, its larger bezels mean its actual size is 150.9 x 75.7 x 8.3 mm (5.9 x 3 x 0.33 inch).

Looking like an iPhone 16 over an iPhone 15 is probably down to rumors that the iPhone SE 4 will also have an Action button.

Here are the leaked 10 brand-new features the iPhone 16 will have later this year.

There’s also talk of the iPhone 16 Pro images having a brand new ‘Capture’ button.

As we do with all leaks, these claims should be taken lightly as they’re at odds with other information – like the iPhone SE 4 having a notch and no Dynamic Island.

Only time, and Apple itself, will tell.
