Antonov AN-178 hits the skies in almost no time at all with very steep takeoff

The Antonov AN-178 stole the show at the Farnborough Air Show in the UK with an incredibly steep takeoff.

This model was originally built based on the AN-158, which was a standard regional jet, but the AN-178 has a wider fuselage and a rear ramp, making it more useful for military duty.

The video poster, Topfelya, described the funny-looking military airplane as putting on a ‘stunning display’ and doing an ‘amazing tactical landing’.

Check out the impressive display above and marvel at the skill of the pilot.
