Los Angeles man shows off his '$2.6M' 1964 Chevrolet Impala and the detailing is having people say it's the 'hardest car of all time'

Somebody spotted what must be the most spectacular 1964 Chevrolet Impala lowrider in Los Angeles.
As you can see from the video below, shared by a creator who goes by mr.gotdamnit, the attention to detail is off the charts.
There isn’t a single inch of the car that hasn’t been modified with care.
Mind you, the caption mentions a number that got people talking.
Let’s start with the small elephant in the room
A content creator shared a video of this amazing Chevy Impala with a caption that included a price: $2.6 million.
The attention to detail on this 1964 Chevrolet Impala is commendable, but, like some people in the comments pointed out, this is probably not a $2.6 million car.
It also depends on what they mean when they talk about a ‘$2.6 million Impala.’
The highest recorded public auction sale for a Chevrolet Impala is $368,500, achieved for a 1959 Chevrolet Impala Convertible.
So we’re way, way south of that.
Alternatively, maybe they mean this car cost $2.6 million to make.
The amount of time detailers spent on the graphics, the upholstery, the engine bay and so on was definitely worth six figures, but not seven.
Still, somebody clearly spent so much time and money on this, and the result speak for itself.
The attention to detail on this Impala is incredible
The car was modified with painstaking attention to detail.
Even the engine bay has been adorned with graphics that match the interior, the wheels, and the suspension.
Both the underside of the hood and the underside of the trunk have also been given some proper care with graffiti-style portraits and sketches.
If lowriders were a religion – and to some people, especially in Los Angeles, they probably are – this car would be a church.
One of the people in the comments said it best.
“This is a level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that the ancient Egyptians would have respected,” they wrote.
