Watch the pilot of an Airbus A350 showcase their impressive skills when having to hit the brakes after landing on a short runway.

Airbus put the A350 into production in 2010 and in the decade-and-a-half since has produced more than 600 units, which have clocked up more than 1,589,000 flights between them.

A cool video recently shared on Reddit showed one of those 600 aircraft tackling a particularly tricky-looking landing on a very short runway.

The plane can be seen swooping down onto the runway, before the pilot applies a liberal use of its brakes as it soars towards the end of the field.
