Aston Martin Valkyrie is casually parked inside a Hong Kong cafe like it's no big deal

Somebody spotted an Aston Martin Valkyrie casually parked inside a Hong Kong cafe.

This makes it a very expensive ornament or piece of furniture.

And a rare one, too.

Only 150 of these supercars exist.

Aston Martin is on fire with these V-models

A while back, Aston Martin evidently got ‘bored’ with normal supercars and decided to begin creating a series of incredible V-models.

We call them ‘V-models’ because all the names start with the letter V.

We’ve got the Valour, the Velan, the Valhalla, the Victor, the Valiant, and of course the Valkyrie.

Technically the Vanquish and Vantage also start with the letter V, but those are ‘regular’ supercars.

Even though these V-models are not necessarily technically the same in terms of powertrain, and even though they’re definitely not the same in terms of design, they all share a few common traits aside from the names.

All these models are limited-edition vehicles.

They’re limited to a few hundred (or in some cases even fewer than that) units.

There are no cheap Astons – they’re all expensive – but these V-models go well beyond the usual six-figure sum.

Some of these cost millions.

And the Valkyrie you see here is probably the most expensive.

This Aston Martin Valkyrie was casually parked inside a cafe in Hong Kong

Aston Martin built 275 Valkyrie hypercars in total.

Specifically, Aston built 40 AMR Pro models, which is the track-only variant, and then also 85 convertible versions called the Spider.

They also built 150 Coupe variants, one of which was spotted inside a cafe in Hong Kong.

Finished in color we could call matte gunmetal gray with matching wheels, the car was spotted and photographed by a Redditor who then shared his work on the r/spotted subreddit.

This rare hypercar looks sensational, even though it is clearly not being used as a car.

Presumably, in a few years when it’s sold at auction, it will show three- or even two-figure mileage. Pity.

Still, as you can imagine, people in the comment section went crazy.

Some Reddit users got geeky and very technical.

“Interesting that it has the Track pack aero discs on, but not the track pack suspension or bodywork,” one Redditor noted.

“The license plate is a fun nod to the original working name for the car, which was the AM RB 001. The RB stands for Red Bull racing, signifying AM working with the F1 team on the creation of the car,” another Redditor wrote.

Other people resorted to irony.

One Redditor in particular pointed out this car is so rare and expensive they can’t even afford to buy its virtual counterpart in video games.

“I can’t even afford this car on Forza,” a third Redditor said.

Well, they aren’t wrong.

The original starting price for the Valkyrie Coupe was north of $3 million.

But this was then.

Now, in the secondary market, you can’t find one for less than $3.5 million – $4 million.
