A Rivian R1S owner drove his EV SUV for less than 9,000 miles, and then decided to sell it as he missed his old minivan.

This Rivian R1S appeared on Cars & Bids, with the electric vehicle having under 9,000 miles on the clock, meaning it was still virtually brand new.

With so few miles, no servicing was required for the car, and it is in immaculate, as-new condition.

Thankfully, the listing goes into the reasons behind the sale, and it gives us a full run-down of the condition that the EV is in.

Why does this owner want to sell the Rivian R1S?

To put it simply, this EV has just 8,700 miles on the clock.

It was bought by the owner in September 2024, and just over a year was enough time for him to decide to sell it.

Previously, he drove around in a minivan, but found that it was better suited for his family than the electric SUV.

After mulling it over, he decided to part ways with the electric car, hence why it is now listed on Cars & Bids.

The vehicle in question is a 2025 Rivian R1S Adventure Edition.

Images show it to be immaculate, with no signs of any use at all.

That is what may make this listing so compelling for possible EV owners.

The Rivian EV has plenty of features

A bonus for any buyers is that this R1S has a clean California title.

On top of that, it has 22-inch wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, and a heated second row of seats.

There is also the panoramic glass roof plus the max battery pack.

The max pack provides the most range out of Rivian’s various battery options.

The two electric motors in the SUV create 533hp and 610lb-ft of torque.

EPA estimated driving range figures say the electric car can travel 410 miles before it needs recharging.

Included in the sale are the factory charger and cable, as well as two keys.

At the time of writing, the bidding stood at $20,000 with just six days for bidders to attempt to grab a mint-condition Rivian.
