Aston Martin is a car brand known for its serious need for speed.
From the Valkyrie to the Vanquish and the Vantage, the engines are very powerful.
In fact, the rarest Aston Martin in the world, the Aston Martin DBR1/1, is a powerhouse that was built back in 1956.
But, despite the brand’s success, very few people actually know what DB stands for in the brand’s DB11 model.
One guy decided to get a feel of one of Aston Martin’s cars for himself by running it to the airport.

Taking to Instagram, creator @2pjz_ shared a video of him hopping in the driver’s seat of a DB12.
He quipped: “Not every day you can grab your Dad from the airport in a $700,000 DB12.”
According to Aston Martin, the DB12 features a ‘hand built 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine’ that produces 680PS and 800Nm of torque, with it heralding a new era for the automaker.
The outside of the car has a cool appearance, with the interior proving to be just as fancy.

Aston Martin notes that the DB12 has: ‘next-gen infotainment, Pure Black digital touchscreens and tactile analogue switchgear’.
The creator was able to use the supercar to collect his dad from the airport in the car, with him explaining that it “still feels wild this happened. Crazy experience and great to share with the old boy.”
Online, gearheads were equally as impressed.
“True Class,” commented one user.
“Unreal! One could only dream,” said another.
“Now that is a car,” quipped a different impressed user.

The DB12 was previously unveiled as the ‘world’s first super tourer’.
There has even been a Goldfinger Edition of the DB12, which was the brand’s tribute to the James Bond films.
