A BMW iX3 concept car just pulled up to get its tires changed at a Birmingham tire shop.
The English business proudly shared a video of the visit to its TikTok channel where it generated a lot of buzz.
Describing the iX3 as a ‘car from the future’, the business gushed about how it was the ‘first to touch it’.
Whilst the logistics of that second claim are practically impossible to prove, we’ll agree heartily with the first – this car looks like it came straight out of Tron.

The BMW iX3 pulled up at a Birmingham tire shop and they were understandably excited about it
Birmingham Tires World shared a clip to its TikTok, in which it showed off the BMW iX3 from all angles.
Somebody had driven the prototype into the shop to get its tires changed, and there was understandable excitment.

In the caption of the video, the business bragged: “Tag a tire shop that’s touched a 2025 BMW. We’ll wait.”
And we imagine they’ll be waiting a long while yet, as this isn’t a common sighting at all.
People in the comments section were left stunned, with one asking to see the interior.
But alas, the clip didn’t give us a look at the iX3’s interior.
What do we know about this new EV model?
The iX3 is the first of the Neue Klasse line of EVs, which is part of the company’s bid to ‘catch up with Tesla’.

The car will be officially unveiled in September this year, with BMW CEO Oliver Zipse saying the upcoming EV will be a ‘typical X model and a BMW through and through’.
But what’s not so typical is the battery’s minimum range offering of 600km (373 miles) and a maximum of 900km (560 miles).
Another thing that’s not so typical – the look of the car.
The Neue Klasse design has been noted to have taken on a more ‘futuristic, robotic-inspired’ design.

It’s an exciting time for the German manufacturer, which also showed off its Vision Driving Experience concept car in recent months.
That one had 20 times more torque than a Ferrari SF90, for people keeping score at home.
With 3 million EVs produced since 2013, BMW is just getting started.
