This Boeing 737 pilot filmed his point of view as he landed a plane in zero-visibility conditions.
It sounds like nightmarish conditions for anyone handling a vehicle, let alone someone flying a plane.
But for this pilot, it was a chance to show off his skill and training.
You’ll never have been so grateful to see a runway.

This is what happened when a Boeing 737 pilot had to land in zero-visibility
Footage was shared to YouTube channel yoyofly, in which the pilot was landing the plane in rainy coniditions.
‘Rainy conditions’ is understating it massively – you can see virtually nothing outside the cockpit window.
It’s not an enviable position to be in; but for a pilot, this is another day at the office.

While the cockpit appears to be shaking under the battering winds, the pilot keeps his cool and gets the job done.
When he reached the runway, some visibility returned, but not all that much.
It was a real nailbiter, but it was a successful landing.
YouTube commenters were on-hand to heap praise onto the pilot.
“These are demanding conditions. Glad everything luckily worked out safely,” one wrote.
“Why pilots get paid well, exhibit A,” another said.
“Zero visibility. Quite nerve wracking. I would be afraid to ride my bicycle in weather like this and you are somehow able to land a 737 right on the spot. Bravo, Captain,” a third commented.

Seeing flights from pilot’s POV is an eye-opening experience
It’s not a view we get to see a lot.
Looking out the windows of an airplane’s cockpit isn’t something many people get to experience.
But it sure is remarkable – and helps us understand why pilots are paid the big bucks, as the above commenters said.
Whether it’s taking off in an Airbus A380 or landing a Boeing 737 at the world’s most difficult airport, these videos make for electrifying viewing.
