This Boeing 747 became a flying wedding venue as an aviation YouTuber got married mid-air.

Sam Chui is one of the world’s most prominent aviation content creators.

So it only seemed right that he would celebrate his union with cabin-crew member Fiona with Boeing-themed nuptials.

The two decided to celebrate their big day aboard a chartered Boeing 747-400, which took a round-trip above the Gulf of Oman – talk about getting married in style.

The Boeing 747 that became a flying wedding venue

On July 12, Sam and Fiona became husband and wife, and took to the skies for a ‘Sky Wedding’.

The Boeing 747-400 departed from Fujairah International Airport and completed a round-trip over the Gulf of Oman.

On board was the couple themselves and all of their guests, enjoying their flying wedding venue.

This plane is usually used for transporting people to Mecca for religious purposes.

But now it was being used to celebrate the union of a couple who are very much immersed in the world of planes.

The plane’s interior screamed wedding, with floral decorations galore and a pastel-flowered pathway in place of the aisle.

On board the plane, the couple cut the cake and hosted a dance party with all their family and friends.

The aircraft itself was more than capable of hosting everybody – with 26 business-class and 450 economy-class seats to choose from.

Over his career, Sam has flown on 240 airlines and 180 aircraft types.

But we have a sneaking suspicion that this may be his favorite flight of all.

We hope that Sam and Fiona have a great onward journey from here on out.
