Remember that commercial plane that accidentally broke the sound barrier? Well, this is what it looked like on the inside.
It sounds like a terrifying prospect to be inside a plane going at such a ferocious speed.
And if this footage is anything to go by, there were a lot of sweaty palms and nervous stomachs onboard.
It’s probably best not to show this video to your friend who has a fear of flying.

This is what was happening inside the commercial plane that accidentally broke the sound barrier
If you can imagine being inside a plane traveling at 808mph (1,300 km/h), you can appreciate how terrifying that would be.
Keep your Pepto Bismol on standby and watch this stomach-turning footage.
Hands are seen pressed firmly in seats, as screams rang out from around the cabin.

It was a bumpy ride, and the flight attendants were taking charge, yelling out directions from the front of the plane.
Just from sound alone, you could tell how windy things were outside the plane.
Towards the end of the video, the situation seemed to stabilize.
At which point, the entire cabin probably felt like breathing a collective sigh of relief.

Flying can be a nerve-wracking experience
Most of us know that flying is safe – rationally, we can look at the statistics and see that this is the case.
But that doesn’t change the fact that many of us can get very jittery about the experience.
And let’s face it, with some of the videos doing the rounds on the internet, the anxiety isn’t totally unfounded.

Remember the time this retiring Airbus A380 pilot pulled off a stunt that left his passengers digging their nails into their armrests?
And speaking of nerve-wracking takeoffs, watch this video of a Monarch A320 lifting off in some seriously ferocious crosswinds.
Ultimately, pilots are trained professionals and know their stuff.
So next time you’re on a flight, relax and sit back – you’re in good hands.
