This footage showed an F-22 Raptor defying gravity with incredible maneuvers that will make your stomach flip.
The video was captured at Arctic Thunder in 2014 and shows the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor in action.
This single-seater, twin-engine fighter aircraft was developed for use in the United States Air Force.
But in this video, the plane was in showboating mode as it zoomed through the air.

This was an impressive show from the F-22 Raptor
If planes were to have resumes, the F-22 Raptor would certainly lay claim to having an impressive one.
Developed by the United States Air Force’s Advanced Tactical Fighter program, this aircraft was built to serve as an air superiority fighter, but it doesn’t stop there.
It’s also suited to serve in ground attacks, electronic warfare, and signals intelligence roles.

But beyond all of the official business, the Raptor also puts on a brilliant show.
And nowhere was that clearer than at Arctic Thunder in 2014.
This air show has been hosting planes biannually in Anchorage, Alaska, since 1990.
And even by that long stretch, this will have been a remarkable display.
The video, shared to YouTube by AiirSource Military, is a thrilling display of aerodynamics at its best.

As this plane weaved through the air, it could be said to be a musical plane – it was Defying Gravity, after all.
Fortunately, the F-22’s pilot was better at flying the plane than we are at coming up with Wicked puns.
We can only imagine what it felt like to be inside this plane’s cockpit, as the Raptor ducked, dived, and weaved its way through the sky.
If the comments section is anything to go by, aviation fans were mightily impressed by the footage.

I feel the need…the need for speed
If there were a ‘Cool-Meter’, this footage would be hitting 10/10 and wearing sunglasses while doing so.
Viewers seemed to endorse it wholeheartedly.
“I think we can all agree that fighter pilots are the coolest people on earth,” one wrote.

“What a beautiful bird. Made my stomach turn just watching it though…” another admitted.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen an impressive display at an airshow, and it certainly won’t be the last.
Remember the time this Airbus A380 took a seriously steep fall at the Farnborough Airshow?
And planes don’t even need to be at airshows for these types of maneuvers, as this A330 showed at Frankfurt airport.
