The new Ferrari 12Cilindri supercar has had a tailor-made makeover, with Korean design and craftsmanship a big inspiration behind the special car.

The Italian manufacturer has a superb bespoke program, called Tailor Made, with its technicians making special, one-off designs for customers.

Now it is the turn of the 12Cilindri to receive the makeover, with a design that is specifically aimed at the South Korean market.

This new model is a striking-looking creation, effectively creating road-going art, and it’s certainly one of the most outlandish vehicles to come from the Tailor Made studio.

A Korean-inspired Ferrari 12Cilindri

The Ferrari 12Cilindri Gran Turismo supercar formed the basis of this particular design.

By far the most noticeable thing upon a first glance is the incredible paint job.

Ferrari calls it Yoonseul, a Korean term that stands for the sparkling reflection of sunlight and moonlight on the water’s surface.

The color is also inspired by Celadon ceramics, and is meant to remind us of the Korean capital, Seoul.

Images of the supercar show it transitioning from green to violet with blue headlights.

This can change depending on how sunlight hits the car.

The company has also remade the traditional markers, wheel caps, and the nameplate, as translucent.

That is something the manufacturer has never done before.

White brake calipers help complete the exterior aesthetic.

The interior of the supercar is just as stunning

The Italian marque hasn’t neglected the interior of the supercar either.

Inside, there’s horsehair weaving, used across the floor, dashboard, and seat fabric.

The fabric itself is also made in South Korea, the first time the manufacturer has used the material.

Another nice touch is the pattern on these surfaces being replicated on the glass roof of the car.

This is done in the form of screen printing, another first for the Italian manufacturer.

Even the translucent elements from the outside are replicated inside, notably on the center console.

White shift paddles mirror the white brake calipers.

The special model has the same 819hp 6.5-liter F140 HD V12 under the hood as the standard cars.

Given the regular car starts at around $500,000, we can imagine this special version pushing that price even higher.
