This guy in Austria was forced to remove his Ferrari 296 GTB from his balcony just one week after parking it there.
And yeah, you read that right because we really did write ‘Ferrari’ and ‘balcony’ in the same sentence.
The reason why he parked his supercar there is pretty crazy.
By contrast, the reason why he was asked to remove it is somewhat logical.

This is why he parked his Ferrari on his balcony
Viennese businessman Amar Dezic owns a few supercars, including a Ferrari 296 GTB that he decided to park on his balcony.
Dezic explained that he decided to park his car on his balcony for ‘practical’ reasons.
“I have several cars, but unfortunately, I couldn’t get another garage space,” he said in an interview with Austrian news outlet Heute.
“[The landlord] said at the time that it wouldn’t be a problem at all. He probably didn’t take me seriously.”
So, when the parking was limited, he chose to get creative and use his cash to hire a crane.
That was the official reason provided, of course, but he also wanted to showcase the Ferrari.

As crazy as it sounds, this is far from uncommon.
A billionaire collector in Australia went above and beyond to park his limited edition McLaren Senna, hauling it 57 stories into the air.
A man in China did the same thing with his Rolls-Royce.
The reason he had to remove the car

The reason why he had to remove the car was pretty straightforward and quite logical.
Just a week after parking the Ferrari 296 GTB on the balcony, building inspectors told him he would have to remove it, citing fire hazards as their main concern.
According to Dezic, getting it up there cost him ‘in the four-figure range’.
So presumably he’s going to have to spend a similar amount to get it back on the street and away from his balcony.
And he’s going to have to find a new parking spot.
