Florida man bought a container full of construction gear from China and when he opened it he found two mini electric payloaders

  • This man in Florida bought two payloaders from China
  • They arrived in a massive container
  • They’re just as good as diesel ones, but cheaper and quieter

This guy in Florida bought a container full of construction gear from China, and he actually found two electric payloaders.

They’re really quite small, but also relatively inexpensive.

They’re less than half the price of an equivalent diesel payloader.

Not a bad deal after all.

Just as good as diesel payloaders, but cheaper

Micah Toll from the EbikeSchool.com YouTube channel bought a couple of mini electric payloaders from China.

The first thing that stands out is the complete absence of sound.

Electric cars are eerily quiet, which can be perhaps a bit frustrating when you’re driving a fast and fun car because you might be missing the V8 noise, but it’s usually a pleasant advantage in other scenarios.

Toll presumably bought the payloaders to use it around his property in Florida, which is so large it has its own pond where he uses his electric boat.

This payloader cost him around $13,000, which is give or take half what you need for a diesel equivalent, and you still get the same result.

“I don’t think there’s much difference to [the other mini excavator we have]. I mean the mechanics are identical,” Toll said in his video.

A collection of cheap electric vehicles from China

Toll is clearly particularly interested in cheap electric vehicles from China.

Apart from the aforementioned payloaders and the boat he bought and modified, he also bought a strange (but cute) electric microcar.

He also bought another vehicle, a small pick-up truck, which he’s been using around his property for 18 months.

That’s certainly a unique ‘car collection’, but it isn’t for everyone.

Partly because not everyone is interested in tiny vehicles from China, but also because, as he often pointed out in his videos, these vehicles are almost never street legal.
