A Tesla Cybertruck challenging a Ram TRX in a good old-fashioned drag race: that’s the recipe one Georgia man used to settle a very loud internet debate.
On YouTube channel MADMAXC7, the crew lined up Tesla’s tri-motor Cyberbeast against Ram’s supercharged V8 monster.
On paper, it sounds like a clash of titans.
In reality, it wasn’t even close.

The race was decided relatively quickly
The Cyberbeast is deceptively quick for its size.
Power comes from three motors in ‘Beast Mode’, with 0–60 mph happening in the low-two-second range.
This is pretty absurd for something shaped like a stainless-steel doorstop.

Across the line sits the Ram TRX, packing a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 pushing around 700 horsepower.
This one’s running massive 40-inch tires, which look incredible but don’t exactly help acceleration.
The TRX weighs about 6,400 pounds and sounds like thunder, which is a stark contrast compared to the Cybertruck’s near-silence.

When the flag dropped, the result was immediate.
The Cybertruck launched like it had been rear-ended by a rocket, while the TRX simply couldn’t look up fast enough to keep pace.
Within seconds, the gap was obvious.
There was no door-to-door battle or dramatic charge towards the finish line.
It didn’t take long at all for the TRX to disappear from the Cybertruck’s side mirrors.

It’s tough to beat an EV in a straight-line race
The hosts weren’t shocked.
They openly admitted that most vehicles need serious horsepower and big top-end speed to catch a tri-motor Tesla.

The Ram TRX might win hearts with noise, drama, and off-road suspension travel, but in a straight-line sprint from zero, physics sides with electric torque every time.
That doesn’t mean the TRX lost all respect.
The Ram still wins on engine sound, interior feel, and old-school muscle-truck character.

But when it comes to towing tech, straight-line speed, and everyday usability features, the Cybertruck kept stacking points.
So what’s the final verdict from the crew?
Well, they may love gas power, but they couldn’t help but admit the Ram was no match for the Tesla Cybertruck in a drag race.
