A Las Vegas man recently let his grandma drive a Tesla Cybertruck EV for the first time, with her also sharing her opinion of the pickup truck.

The YouTuber, Vegas Tesla Carmen, decided the time was right to give his grandma her first drive of the Cybertruck, a vehicle that has divided opinion ever since its launch.

She had to be brought up to speed on how to get it going and how to drive it, given she had not driven an electric car before.

It didn’t take her long to give some feedback as to how she felt about the EV.

This grandma had never driven a Tesla Cybertruck

The grandma needed to be brought up to speed about the EV once she stepped into it.

One thing she noted was how it felt similar to her SUV, despite the size of the pickup truck.

For her daily driver, she said she had a Hyundai Tucson.

The first thing she noted was that it was comfortable and that it didn’t feel too large to drive.

Another thing was how she barely had to turn the steering wheel to get the truck turned around.

Something else that impressed her was how it performed a U-turn in a tight spot without any problems.

The grandma also felt quite safe, given the size of the EV.

The Tesla Cybertruck does have very high safety ratings despite initial worries.

Was she won over by the electric truck?

For the YouTuber, the real question was whether his grandma would be won over by the truck.

At the end of the video, she was full of praise for the EV.

She loved how comfortable it was, how it drove, and she went on to say it was ‘really cool.’

However, the price wasn’t something she was keen on.

The truck she was in cost $80,000, and of course, the prices can rise to $120,000 for the Cyberbeast model.

For this particular grandma, it’s the price that would put her off it the most.

Plus, she felt her Hyundai SUV was perfect for her, and that she had no need for the truck.

But it is safe to say that it did leave a positive impression on her after the first drive.
