Harry Kane's old Bentley Continental GT Supersports is for sale, but it's for a cut price fee
- Soccer star Harry Kane sold his Bentley after joining a German club
- The car is as good as new, with less than 26,000 miles on the clock
- It’s a lot less expensive than you’d expect

This Bentley Continental GT Supersports used to belong to England star Harry Kane, and it’s currently for sale.
Kane bought it in 2017, when he was still at Tottenham, and sold it after leaving the UK to join Bayern Munich.
This is a very rare and powerful car.
And yet, despite its rarity and the celebrity factor, the asking price is probably lower than people think.

Why Harry Kane sold his Bentley Continental Superports
Soccer stars often sell most of their cars – and sometimes their homes – when they join a new club in a different country.
This is especially true for players who leave the English Premier League, and therefore the UK, because they don’t want to drive a right-hand drive car in left-hand drive traffic.

That’s what Harry Kane did when left Tottenham to join Bayern Munich in Germany.
This Continental GT is fitted with a massive 6.0-liter W12, putting out 710HP, and it’s only done 25,400 miles.
Kane’s Bentley Continental GT Supersports is currently available for £69,995, equivalent to around $90,000, which is less than half its original price.
Back when it was new, it cost around $200,000.
Less than $90,000 for a car like this, in this condition, almost sounds like a bargain.

The other reason why soccer players often sell their cars
There’s another reason why soccer players often sell most of their cars when they switch clubs.
The Bentley Continental GT Supersports is a rare and valuable car, but it isn’t a collectible car.
Translated, you either drive it or get rid of it, as it doesn’t make much sense to keep it in the UK while you’re Germany and see it depreciate.
And players like Kane are often ‘stuck’ – hashtag first-world problems – with their company car.

Some clubs have long-standing partnership deals with car brands, Audi in the case of Bayern Munich, so Bayern Munich players get to drive any Audi they want as a company car.
Kane opted for a Q8 e-tron, a luxury SUV that’s a bit slower than the Bentley, but arguably more comfortable and sensible.
By the way, this also applies to elite athletes in other fields.
Tennis legend Rafa Nadal once signed a deal with Mercedes and got an SLS AMG as a company car.

Meanwhile, NFL icon Tom Brady spent most of his career driving Aston Martins.
Imagine being able to use an Aston as a company car.
Aside from Tom Brady, we can think of another ‘celebrity’ whose company car is and always has been an Aston.
His name begins with J, and ends with… ames Bond.
