This man revealed he’d made $5,380 in just three days from flipping a car after a $672 investment in a BMW.
YouTuber Josh Sanderson invested $672 into a BMW 118d, intending to turn it around.
But with smoke coming from the engine and an oil level warning, there was no telling if this car would be a bargain or a blunder.
How would Sanderson turn this daunting prospect into a profit?

This man spent $672 in – could be make a profit?
When Josh Sanderson got his hands on this BMW 118d, he had no idea whether he was investing in a bargain or a money pit.
The car had reportedly been smoking, and the oil level warning light was flashing, so it wasn’t looking promising.
The possibility of a new engine loomed, which would cost a whole lot of dough.

But a drive put those fears to rest, with no smoke spilling out of the car.
This led Sanderson and his pals to conclude that the previous owner had overfilled the oil due to a faulty sensor.
They then carried out a full service, fixing a small issue with a fuel filter fitment.
Afterwards, the engine ran smoothly with no smoke.
Then it was time to do a clean on the BMW, inside and out.
Fortunately, this car wasn’t looking too bad.
We’ve certainly seen worse – like this disgusting Dodge Ram.
There was no gagging either, as happened when WD Detailing took on this Honda Acura NSX.
But it still needed a clean nonetheless.
They found an unopened fortune cookie in the car, which is certainly a first.

At the very least, it had a positive message inside.

One extensive clean later, the car was looking a lot better.
The outside paint got a polish, while the inside was treated to a wet vac and steam clean.
After the car passed its MOT – an annual test of vehicle safety carried out in the UK – it was time to get the car sold.

And to use a British term of phrase, they were ‘buzzing’ with the money made flipping a car.
The car sold for $5,380 with expenses of $1,292, which included the purchase and any repairs/cleaning.
All in all, that was a profit of $4,088.
For three days’ work, that’s not too shabby at all.
