Maserati’s newest one-of-one supercar freezes magma into a chameleon masterpiece for The ICE 2026

Maserati rolled into The ICE in St Moritz with a bespoke one-of-one convertible chameleon masterpiece built to look like liquid lava flash-frozen in motion.

Called the MCPura Cielo Frozen Magma, the supercar was unveiled on the ice at The ICE, St Moritz.

The one-off creation was built through Maserati’s Fuoriserie personalization program as a true showpiece.

It is also a birthday celebration for the iconic Trident brand, marking 100 years since the Tipo 26 made its debut.

Maserati’s new supercar freezes magma

This one-off supercar masterpiece was created through Maserati’s Fuoriserie personalization program, and the paint is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

The glossy finish is called Ai Aqua Rainbow, a color-shifting hue that changes depending on the light, designed as a nod to the crystal-clear icy glacier surface at the event.

Maserati then turned the contrast up with glossy orange accents across the exterior, including the iconic Trident on the hood, the Maserati lettering, and the Cielo badge.

It comes with 20-inch Cyclonic Fuoriserie wheels finished in glossy black, with orange brake calipers, orange hub caps, and a Trident detail to tie the whole ‘magma meets ice’ theme together.

The ICE 2026 one-of-one debut

Under the icy skin, it is based on the MCPura Cielo, the hardtop convertible version of the MCPura, which is the new name for the MC20.

Maserati says the MCPura keeps the same core character as the rear-mid-engine, two-seat sports car, powered by a 630hp V6 engine.

Inside, the Frozen Magma hardens into something dark and sharp with black Alcantara, then has orange details: embroidered headrests, orange stitching, and laser-cut chevron graphics, plus a cool carbon fiber trim.

There is also a specific cabin badge that spells out the point of the whole build: ‘THE ICE 2026’ and ‘ONE OF ONE.’

Maserati did more than make it look amazing, too.

The one-off supercar has loads of amazing extras like carbon-ceramic brakes, a suspension lifter, and a driver assistance pack, even if the luxury automaker is staying quiet on what happens to it next and what it is worth.
