One of the first examples of the Mercedes-AMG One hypercar to arrive in the United States has landed in New York.
The Mercedes is set to be one of the rarest in the world, with the company producing less than 300 of them.
And it was recently spotted at the Mercedes-Benz dealership in Manhattan, New York.
It currently takes pride of place on the showroom floor and suggests deliveries are about to start across the US.

The first US-spec AMG One looks fantastic
Images of the Mercedes-AMG One at the dealer have surfaced online.
There is no denying that the car looks fantastic.
This particular example has appeared in a Diamond White color, with some superb exposed carbon surfaces.
As with other examples of the AMG hypercar, there are Petronas Green accents across the bodywork.
These are most notably on the AMG lettering on the car’s shark fin.
The same Petronas Green is also on the car’s steering wheel, with the cockpit resembling an F1 car rather than a road car.
That is no coincidence, as Mercedes designed the AMG One to be an F1 car for the road.
The Mercedes-AMG One has a Formula 1 engine under the hood
Under the hood of the AMG is the same engine used in the 2015 Mercedes W06 Formula 1 car.
This is the car Lewis Hamilton won his third world title in, and his second for the Mercedes team.
Mercedes also won that year’s constructors championship, and teammate Nico Rosberg won six races as he finished runner-up that year.
The hypercar produces 1,063hp from its 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 and two electric motors.

The development of the car has been hampered over the years, and it is several years late.
Deliveries only began a couple of years ago, with the car first revealed back in 2017.
Some of those have already been spotted on roads, with a few out and about in Dubai.
The delivery of this example to New York suggests that American deliveries are now beginning to take place.
