MG4 ER driver gives full cost breakdown of their 6000km 8-day Germany-Denmark-Sweden-Norway road trip

The owner of an MG MG4 ER EV has given a full breakdown of a 6,000km road trip in the car across eight days from Germany to Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
Posted on Reddit, the trip has been documented well, with a multitude of costs to make it as comprehensive a breakdown as possible, and it includes all the recharging costs.
The trip itself looked like a very enjoyable one, with the owner of the MG able to take in some incredible scenery and locations.
Sharing the charging cost also gives us a great idea as to how long road trips in an EV can cost.

How much did the road trip cost?
Across the eight days, the Redditor, tom_zeimet, says they drove 6,000km or roughly 3,730 miles.
The Redditor posted a spreadsheet image of how much each charging point costs in euros in their post.
As you would assume, prices for charging the EV varied from country to country.
The most expensive charge came as they headed from Norway to Denmark, costing €30.9 or roughly $35.
In terms of the cheapest charge, a recharging station in Denmark costs less than one dollar to use.
Adding up all of the costs involved sees the trip cost €379.87, roughly converting to $442.20.
Given the mileage accumulated with the car, that doesn’t seem like too bad a price to pay.
The MG MG4 ER is a recent addition to the company’s range
MG added the EV to its range in 2022, and it’s been very well received in Britain, Europe, and China.
The Chinese-owned manufacturer has also stepped into the sports car world with the Cyberster.
Depending on the trim chosen, of course, the range can vary with the MG4.
The standard SE has 323 miles of range, and the SE Long Range has 362 miles of range.
Then there is the Trophy Long Range with 365 miles of range and the Trophy Extended Range with 452 miles.
The Reddit post is captioned MG4 ER, suggesting this is the Trophy Extended Range with the most mileage available.
