NASA shared a video of the hypersonic North American X-15 landing on Rogers Dry Lake in California and it’s quite the footage.

For reference, this jet has a top speed of 4,520MPH, which makes it nearly four times as fast as Concorde.

The way the aircraft decelerates so rapidly and abruptly right before landing is impressive.
