A couple from Nashville decided to live in the Tesla Cybertruck for 72 hours in the desert to see what it’s like to live in using the CyberTent.
The husband and wife lived out of their Tesla Cybertruck for three days and put Tesla’s $3k basecamp tent to the test.
They have previously spent quite a few years living in all kinds of RVs, vans, trucks, etc.
So they are the best people when it comes to testing the Tesla Cybertruck for living out in the wilderness.

Living in the Cybertruck for a few days in the desert
Kara and Nate have spent the last few years bouncing around the globe or living out of a van.
So when they got their hands on a Tesla Cybertruck, they tried to see if they could live in the middle of a desert with just the pickup truck and the $3k CyberTent.
The CyberTent accessory is a pop-up roof tent that turns the Cybertruck into an RV.
However, despite being experienced campers, the couple did face some challenges setting the tent up.
The only video he had for reference was the promotional video shared by Tesla.
Although the couple liked the EV truck as a vehicle after setting up the tent at night, Nate had a few critiques.
CyberTent issues
Setting up the basecamp tent was quite complicated and also required manual inflation and truck adjustments.
Lack of in-tent electricity was also a major drawback.
Nate also pointed out that charging the Cybertruck at a Supercharger also attracted a lot of attention.
Each time people gathered around the EV truck to check it out.
If you are a person who doesn’t like to talk to strangers then the Cybertruck might not be for you.
As far as the vehicle was concerned, the couple was seriously impressed.
They praised its off-road performance and how it powered everything for three days.
