Pagani just won’t let go of the Zonda, although we can’t blame them.

More than 25 years after it first debuted, the Italian hypercar icon is back again, commissioned as a special request by a wealthy client.

Created through Pagani’s ultra-exclusive Unico customization program, this is the first and only jet-inspired Zonda ever made.

This is one of those times where describing something as one-of-a-kind isn’t an exaggeration.

This Pagani Zonda is inspired by a fighter jet

This special edition isn’t just a repaint of an old Zonda.

Its design has been completely reimagined, with inspiration pulled straight from the Kunlun Mountains in China, as requested by the client who commissioned it.

You’ll spot a bold blue tint on the doors, brake calipers, and rear fenders, all paired with plenty of exposed carbon fiber for that classic Pagani flair.

On top of that, there’s also a seriously wild aero package, including a center fin, a roof scoop, and a massive twin-wing setup that looks straight off a fighter jet.

And while Pagani hasn’t revealed the exact specs for this beast, it’s likely to be similar to its closest relatives in the Zonda 760 series.

This means a naturally aspirated 7.3 liter V12 engine, pushing out around 760 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque, all sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.

Pagani keeps releasing new models

The Zonda is truly living proof that you can teach an old dog new tricks.

While it has been 26 years since it first debuted at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show, it keeps pace easily with modern supercars.

And the way Pagani keeps releasing new models proves that its popularity has not waned one bit.

At the end of the day, the Zonda Unico isn’t just a car, but a symbol of Pagani’s obsession with beauty, speed, and extreme personalization.

This one might be a one-off, but it keeps the Zonda story alive in the most over-the-top way possible.

If you’ve got a few million to spare and some radical ideas, Pagani just might build you your dream car.
