For fans of Le Mans-style machines, UK engineering specialists RML have just unveiled a hypercar that drove straight out of endurance racing and onto the road.

For years, Porsche’s 918 Hybrid stood as the crown jewel of Stuttgart’s lineup, but ever since its retirement, that throne has sat empty.

Now, RML is stepping in to fill the gap with the GT Hypercar, a radical reinterpretation of the Porsche 911 Turbo S.

It’s part motorsport fantasy, part bespoke luxury, and entirely outrageous.

RML has 40 years of experience of motorsport expertise

The RML GT Hypercar, nicknamed the GTH, was first revealed last year in prototype form.

After months of fine-tuning, RML has now shown off the first production model at the prestigious Salon Privé in the UK.

This isn’t just any version either; it’s the 40th Anniversary Special Edition (SE), built to celebrate the company’s four decades in the game.

With a bespoke spec and some seriously extreme hardware, it makes a statement worthy of the occasion.

While it keeps a few 911 cues, like the greenhouse, mirrors, and lighting, everything else has been re-sculpted in carbon fiber.

Flared fenders, a stretched rear, and an oversized aerodynamic package turn the once-familiar silhouette into something that looks ready to line up at Le Mans.

Painted in a deep Storm Purple with exposed carbon accents, the car oozes menace.

Gold center-lock wheels add a retro-racecar vibe, while a purple-tinted carbon roof and hand-painted gold badging give it a sense of occasion.

Inside, the transformation continues.

The cabin is retrimmed with supple leather, detailed with Crayon stitching and matching seatbelts.

Carbon inserts painted to match the bodywork, along with a Storm Purple roll cage, add drama.

What’s under the hood?

Of course, a hypercar needs firepower to back up the styling, and RML delivers in spades.

Working with Litchfield Motors, the rear-mounted 3.7-liter twin-turbo flat-six has been turned into a monster, producing 907 horsepower and over 1,000 Nm of torque.

That firmly plants it in hypercar territory, far beyond the reach of most ‘ordinary’ supercars.

Production will be limited to just 39 cars, with only 10 of them being the special 40th Anniversary edition.

Prices start at £495,000 (around $665,000) before taxes, and that’s not even counting the donor 911 Turbo S you’ll need to supply.

It’s as exclusive as it is over the top, but for anyone who wants a Le Mans-style hypercar, this is the price they have to pay.
