Due to the wild success of its Bespoke program in 2025, Rolls-Royce has revealed it is opening a new $400 million site expansion at Goodwood in the UK, with operations beginning in the next few years.

Rolls-Royce has always been one of, if not the singular, leading luxury brands in the automobile industry.

But the last few years have seen the UK carmakers really up the ante in their delivery of cutting-edge one-of-one vehicles.

As a result, the orders placed at the company are so big that Rolls-Royce has been forced to spend $400,000,000 on a new production facility.

Rolls-Royce reveals secrets behind massive 2025 successes with custom Bespoke program

The Rolls-Royce Bespoke program has enjoyed one of its most successful years ever.

Prouding beauties like the one-off space-themed Cullinan Cosmos, a woofer-inspired pet-friendly commissioned Spectre, and a woodworked Phantom that defies logic, the UK manufacturer has taken auto imagination to new heights.

Reflecting over the last 12 months, the brand revealed that the Cullinan was the most requested model in the scheme, followed closely by the Spectre, as sales increased year-on-year.

But after celebrating 100 years of luxury with a fleet of special Phantoms, the brand is continuing to add more features to its program.

New materials such as ‘three-dimensional ink layering, marquetry and embroidery, 24-carat gold leafing, polished concrete, and hand-painted Starlight Headliners’ will be added to the ever-increasing menu in 2026.

Cars weren’t the only success story either, as the Bespoke program also crafted the elegant chess set that costs more than the average sedan.

Requests for table-top, boutique pieces increased by 13 percent year-on-year, according to a recent press release, with the Cameo desktop sculpture being among the most popular centerpieces.

A new $400M site expansion is coming to Goodwood

To accommodate such demand for these custom cars, Rolls-Royce has now revealed that it will be opening a site expansion worth $400 million, building on its premises at the UK’s famed Goodwood location.

Construction began in February 2025, and the brand revealed that the first pieces of technology will be added to the facility this year.

With any luck, the plant will be fully operational by the end of the decade, giving us more masterpieces like the 8-bit-themed Ghost with a ‘Pixel Blaster’ star ceiling.

“Our clients’ increasing interest and engagement in more ambitious commissions are realized in our joint pursuit of perfection,” said Rolls-Royce Chief Executive Chris Brownridge.

“Every motor car is a singular expression of its owner’s vision, and together they reflect the spirit of innovation, craft, and cultural fluency that defines Rolls-Royce today.”

With decades of history and vintage cars, here’s to the next 50 years of modern luxury.
