After getting underneath a Tesla Cybertruck to complete a ‘simple’ fix, this mechanic ‘wizard’ immediately wants to retire.
The Cybertruck really is like no other vehicle ever made.
The futuristic beast falls into the pickup genre but is more Millennium Falcon than the Ford F-F150.
So after one Tesla Cybertruck pulled into his shop for what should be a straightforward job, this mechanic was left dumbfounded.

Tesla Cybertruck proves too complicated for mechanics
The sci-fi-looking EV pickup was always feared to be too far ahead of its time.
Particularly if people decided to use it as a daily driver and come into some minor issues.
While some people have modded their Cybertrucks, the only hands really experienced with these cars are Tesla mechanics themselves.
The only problem is, their services are expensive.
But YouTube pair Car Wizard and Hoovies Garage combined to fix the latter’s Cybertruck, which was having issues with its windscreen wiper.

The truck wasn’t releasing spray from its boomstick wiper, described as ‘looking like Wayne Gretzky’s hockey stick’.
It also wasn’t cleaning debris from the windshield.
In an upload to Hoovies Garage’s YouTube channel, the duo got to grips with what makes a Cybertruck tick in a bid to fix this mundane issue.
After a quick inspection, it was evident that the wiper fluid was leaking all over the trunk.
The Cybertruck’s hidden surprises
In the engine compartment straight ‘from the Enterprise’, the mechanic found some very interesting additions on top of the usual car features.
They included pillows that serve as support, a cabin filter that exploded from the softest touch, unconnected spare wires for a backup motor, and a very advanced radiator .
Underneath the car, he was impressed by the unique dual steering racks in the wheels, the automatic breaking features, and the extensive armor protecting the battery.

“For things like that suspension, I could work on it.
“But the problem is, do they even sell the parts for it?” he said.
Because by the time these become available to individual mechanics, the Car Wizard claimed he’d be ‘long retired’.
As for the original issue, the mechanic identified where the leak was coming from, although the fix was sorted off-screen.
Still, he claimed that it wasn’t as bad as the Ford F-150 Lighting, whose engine was a ‘spaghetti’ mess of wires.
With these cars getting so advanced, they’re clearly becoming a headache for even the most experienced car handlers.
And it seems this mechanic has had enough.
“Leave the game before the game leaves you…” he said. Right?
