A Tesla Cybertruck owner attempted to take his EV on a ride up the Bee Canyon Truck Trail but things unfortunately took a turn for the worse.

The Cybertruck initially handled the rough and tough terrain ‘like a beast’, according to its owner.

However, the off-road adventure soon went awry and the truck became stuck part way through the trail.

With the truck stuck, the owner had to call for help – and he’s now issued a warning to others who might be considering taking their Cybertruck off-roading.

The Tesla Cybertruck got completely stuck

Tesla says its Cybertruck is ‘built for adventure’, and alongside the EV’s Off-Road Mode, there’s even the option to convert it into a sort of camper.

And plenty of folks have done just that, like this guy who spent a whole weekend off-road during freezing temperatures, or these truck experts who took one off-roading in Colorado to see if FSD works in the middle of nowhere.

However, Cybertruck owner and YouTuber Dreamliner recently discovered that things can still end in disaster when taking the truck off-road.

He attempted to tackle the Bee Canyon to Indian Creek Truck Trail in his Cybertruck, but due to ‘heavy rains’ that had ‘dramatically changed the landscape’ the truck became completely stuck.

Realizing his Cybertruck wasn’t going anywhere, the Tesla owner called out a rescue and recovery team.

The recovery expert, who arrived in a Ford Bronco, quickly set to work, but it was no mean feat.

A rescue team had to be called out to help

The Tesla Cybertruck was stuck on a particularly bumpy bit of track, in fact, the terrain was so brutal even the Bronco appeared to struggle when it first arrived on the scene.

The rescuers hooked the truck up to the Bronco and began the slow and careful process of getting it free.

After a solid start things literally ground to a halt, so the rescue team tied some extra ropes to the Cybertruck and tried again.

Eventually – and after what must have felt like a very long time for the driver and his pet dog – the truck was freed and was able to get back on the trail.

Sharing a clip of his rescue on YouTube, Dreamliner issued a warning to other would-be off-roaders.

“If you’re planning to hit these trails post-rain, consider this a friendly heads-up,” he wrote in the caption.

Solid advice.
