This Tesla Cybertruck owner claims that after returning from vacation, he found his Tesla dead, even though it was supposedly plugged in the whole time.
So, he asked fellow Cybertruck owners for advice on what to do in the sticky situation.
But, all hope was not lost as the problem was actually covered under warranty.
Plus, it turns out that the EV owner was doing all of the right things, and the issue had nothing to do with the vacation.

This Tesla Cybertruck owner says his Tesla was dead after he returned from vacation, even though it was plugged in
When it comes to EVs, there is one huge element that must be in perfect working order: the battery.
Arguably, the most important element of any electric-powered vehicle, the battery needs to be charged to get drivers from A to B safely.

But one Tesla owner had a shock when he returned to his Cybertruck after leaving it plugged in. He found it was actually dead.
Taking to the Tesla Cybertruck Owners group on Facebook, Tesla owner AJ Esguera said that he needed some help.
“We were on vacation for two weeks and just returned, and the CT won’t power on at all. I looked at my app, and it says it last connected 11 days ago.
“We’ve had record heat the past week. Is it possible it overheated and damaged the battery, or can I try a master reset before I set up a service call?” he asked
Luckily, though, once Tesla diagnosed the issue and they found the offender to be the power converter.
“It was covered by the warranty and replaced; it didn’t have anything to do with the heat or being left on the charger, actually, it was recommended to be kept on the charger,” he later explained.
So, it turned out that the EV owner was actually doing everything right anyway by keeping it plugged in.
Other Tesla owners offered advice and support before AJ revealed the real route of the issue.

“Mine does the same. Get in and put in drive. It reconnects right away,” said one user.
“I know it can stop charging if too hot, but have never heard of it bricking like that. Would love to hear what the mobile tech says/does,” commented another gearhead.
The Cybertruck was a game-changing EV pickup upon its release
When Tesla announced the production of the Cybertruck, the EV giant paved the way once again.
Thanks to its unique design, it’s made to tackle all kinds of terrain and has a range of 366 miles, and many gearheads have taken the pickup and put it to the test for themselves.
For example, some guys from Utah put the Tesla Cybertruck against the Ford Raptor R in a steep incline test to put each truck through its paces.
Plus, another Tesla Cybertruck owner towed thousands of pounds on a California road trip and was left surprised at how the truck fared.
What would you have thought the issue was with the Tesla?
