This Tesla Model 3 driver has gone the distance in his car, driving 200,000 miles, so he decided to share his honest thoughts.

With the switch over from gas power to electricity being a trend in the auto world, an EV with durability is music to everyone’s ears, especially when it’s a Tesla.

And, after one man from California decided to document his good experience, other EV owners were simply in shock.

In fact, after 200,000 miles, his story has given other Model 3 drivers hope.

Gearheads love an EV that has potential, power, and durability, with many owners deciding to put their EVs through tests to determine just how well they can perform.

But, after using his EV for work tasks and beyond, one Tesla Model 3 driver decided to share what he really thought of the car’s performance.

Taking to Reddit, user Camera_Guy_AJ explained that he’d managed to rack up 200,000 miles in his Model 3SR + after buying it with just 20 miles on the clock.

“Now, little over 4 years later, it now has over 200,000 miles.

“Battery was replaced at 80,000 miles when an error message popped up saying the battery needed replacing and was 100% covered by the warranty.”

And, despite the battery issue, tri-weekly AC condenser cleaning, and going through a ‘ton’ of tires, he’s still raving about the car.

“I’m still on the same brake pads with no other issues with the car. By far, [the] lowest maintenance car I have ever owned,” he explained as he shared a picture of his on-screen odometer online.

It appears that the Tesla Model 3 driver isn’t the only impressed driver of the car either.

Another Tesla Model 3 owner who had driven 144,000 miles in six years shared the astonishing amount of money he’d saved on gas, too.

Other Tesla owners saw the Model 3 Driver as a sign of hope

It’s no secret that EVs are taking the EV world by storm.

From BYD to Slate, many companies are competing with Tesla and its fleet of vehicles that have paved the electrical way in recent years.

For example, one Cybertruck owner in Colorado said that going from a Ford F-150 to a Tesla was like going from a typewriter to a laptop.

So, when people caught word of the Tesla Model 3 driver and his positive experience, it gave others the hope of having the same luck.

“My 2021 M3 LR has 80k miles and going strong on the original battery hoping to get to 200k,” said one user.

“That is really encouraging to hear,” said another gearhead.

“I really do hope my 2021 M3P lasts as long as yours. If I make it to 200k miles (currently have 60k) I’d consider that a major win,” said another.
