The Cybertruck has been around for a while now, but it continues to spark debates and conversations two years on from its launch – and these Cybertruck builds are prime examples of that.
Let’s face it, some of these builds are strange.
It’s definitely a case of different strokes for different folks, as some will hate these builds, whilst others will wish they had one of their own – one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
One thing we can all agree on is that they are definitely unusual.

These are the five weirdest Cybertruck builds we’ve seen
If there’s one thing that could be said broadly about these Cybertruck builds, it’s that they are nothing short of creative marvels.
Whether or not these should be rolled out en masse, we’ll leave that for you to decide.
Without any further ado – and in no particular order – these are the five weirdest Cybertruck builds we’ve seen.
1) This homemade Cybertruck from Estonia
Rauno Märtsoo wanted to be the only Cybertruck owner in his country, and to achieve this distinction, he got to work making his own.
To create his homemade EV, he started off with an angular wooden frame and built it over his own car.
So it’s not technically an EV.

But you can see what he was aiming for.
The Perspex panels he used certainly resembled the Cybertruck’s exterior, but it’s a tall order to try and replicate an EV pickup like this.
At any rate, the project won him a lot of kudos online, so we take our hats off to him for his efforts.
2) Great Scott! It’s a CyberDeLorean!
If you wanted a Tesla that made you feel like Marty McFly…you might have watched too many movies.
But there’s no denying that this CyberDeLorean is cool.

On Reddit, the build’s creator documented the process of creating two wooden cooling vents for the rear of the truck.
These are then painted to look exactly in line with the silver of the Cybertruck itself.
And that’s not all – there’s a real-life flux capacitor installed between the rear seats!

Okay, okay, a flux capacitor isn’t quite real in the sense that it can send you back in time.
But it sure looked the part – and the internet loved it.
3) What do you get when you put a Cybertruck and a Toyota Prius together? A Cybercop
This thing looks like it came straight out of a Robocop movie, so you won’t be surprised to learn that it’s a real headturner.
Fittingly, 100 percent of the money from its sale on eBay went to Utah’s 10-33 Foundation, an organization that assists the families of fallen officers.

It sold for $4,550 in the end, which is a bargain for a one-of-a-kind build.
While it’s certainly unusual, it’s clearly the result of hard work, and it raised money for a good cause to boot.
4) What happens when a homemade build goes off-roading?
These American brothers had tried their hands at making their Tesla pickup, and it did look pretty cool, to give credit where credit’s due.
It started off life as a 1998 Jeep Cherokee and came out looking like a totally different vehicle after two days of hard work from off-roading YouTubers, the Peck Brothers.

However, the ultimate test would come when they took it off-roading.
Things didn’t quite go to plan, leaving the brothers thinking on their feet – or their wheels in this case – to keep it going through a competition.
5) The Tesla Siber Truck…no, that’s not a typo
This build could be best described as a parody, as the spelling of its name suggests.
The work of YouTuber Ginger Billy, the Tesla Siber Truck looks like the spawn of a golf cart and a quad bike.
Oh yeah, and its body is shaped like a house roof.

With a practically non-existent interior, this build is definitely odd.
If it’s generated one reaction online, it’d be a lot of laughs.
And we could all do with some comic relief these days, right?
