Mark McCann is the proud owner of the UK’s first KTM X-BOW GT-XR, an amazing sports car worth almost $400,000.
Since buying it, he has taken it to a racetrack to see if it can beat a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, but that highlighted several issues.
There was definitely something wrong with the sports car, but luckily, KTM said they would take it back for inspection and to fix any problems.
So with that offer accepted, McCann recently took it to KTM to find out what was wrong with his new sports car.

What was wrong with the KTM X-BOW GT-XR?
Incredibly, rather than have the KTM brought to them, the company flew from Austria to England to fix the sports car.
That truly is next-level customer service!
The plan is to fit the car with new parts from KTM that comply with UK rules, as some parts did not.
KTM also wanted to see if the car had sustained any damage when it was at the racetrack.
Thankfully, the damage was purely cosmetic and didn’t impact the performance or safety of the X-BOW GT-XR.

KTM also updated the steering wheel software so it showed mph, rather than kmh.
The headlights were an issue as they pointed towards the wrong side of the road for driving in the UK.
But the company gave McCann new ones better suited for cars that drive on the left-hand side of the road.
Other upgrades were added to the sports car
The company also upgraded the suspension, improving its ride and performance.
A test drive with the company’s engineer confirmed the changes had indeed worked.
McCann was also shown how to get the best out of the car’s launch control system.
With KTM’s work done, the car was taken back to the racetrack to see how it performed.
The aim was to see how much better the sports car was when it went over the bumps in the surface.
Thankfully for the YouTuber, it seemed that the work done had solved all the issues.
So now, all he has to do is race the 911 GT3 RS again and see if he can beat it.
