Utah cops recently pulled a man over for reckless driving, and then realized he had been driving a $1.5 million Aston Martin supercar prototype.

The incident occurred earlier in November 2025, after the Emery County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a car for reckless driving on Interstate 70 near Green River, Utah.

It was only after they had pulled the car over and taken a look at it that they realized this was an Aston Martin supercar being tested out by the company.

This led to a fairly humorous exchange, with the police making relatively light of the incident in a post on Facebook.

What the police said about the reckless driving incident

It turned out that the Utah police had pulled over a prototype of the Aston Martin Valhalla supercar.

The car was undergoing testing on I-70, which explained why it was being driven in a ‘reckless’ manner.

The cops seemed excited by pulling over a $1.5 million car, and said the Valhalla was being ‘tested and adjusted.’

According to the Facebook post, they instructed the driver on ‘proper driving etiquette.’

The police also said they went on to ‘take care of some business,’ although they didn’t elaborate on this.

That may have been anything from issuing a ticket, a warning, or telling the driver to carry on, but be careful.

But according to the Facebook post, it was a fun moment for the cops!

The Valhalla is a very exclusive supercar

The Valhalla is Aston Martin’s latest creation, and it will be a spectacular supercar.

According to the British manufacturer, only 999 examples will be sold worldwide.

The car made its debut with Fernando Alonso at the wheel in Monaco.

It makes the sighting of the car by the Utah police even more of a story.

The Valhalla is Aston Martin’s first-ever mid-engine PHEV hybrid supercar, and it has plenty of power.

Under the hood is a 4.0-liter Mercedes-AMG twin-turbocharged V8 engine.

As well as the V8, the Valhalla has three electric motors, one at the rear and two at the front.

Combined, the V8 and electric motors produce 1,064hp and 810lb-ft of torque.

With power like that, no wonder it was seen driving erratically in the state ot Utah!
