YouTuber Cody Detwiler, better known as WhistlinDiesel, loves to buy epic cars, such as a $100,000 Chevrolet Corvette supercar, and then do crazy things with them.
Now with a Chevrolet C8 Corvette Z06 at his disposal, the YouTuber has decided to do exactly that with this American supercar.
So if you are a fan of the car, look away, as WhistlinDiesel revealed he had bought the Corvette just to use and abuse it.
This would showcase just how tough Chevrolet has been able to make the Corvette Z06.
WhistlinDiesel was not afraid to push the C8 Z06
After some shenanigans with the car, Detwiler revealed the true purpose behind his purchase.
The YouTuber took the car home and immediately began putting it through its paces off-road.
This is not the natural habitat for any Chevrolet Corvette.

Supercar Blondie has approached Chevrolet to find out what they think of the YouTuber’s plans.
While destroy might be a strong word, those are sort of the intentions from the YouTuber.
After it gets launched off-road, Detwiler rapidly damages the tires on the sports car.
We can’t deny that it looks spectacular watching the car launch through dirt and grass.
But this is not the natural home of a Z06.
Corvette fans watching his video probably won’t be too happy either, considering how good this car is.
Why Corvette fans won’t want to see this car destroyed
The Z06 is the more track-focused version of the C8 supercar.
Under the hood sits a huge 5.5-liter LT6 V8 engine that makes 670hp and 460lb-ft of torque.
Those figures come without both supercharging and turbocharging.

With a top speed of 195mph, the Z06 is just as fast as its main rivals from Europe, such as Ferrari and Lamborghini.
The biggest selling point, though, is the price.
At a current MSRP of $120,300 at the time of writing, the Z06 is a bargain supercar.

Compare that to the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, which is a supercar that will set you back at least $500,000.
While you get extra power with the Ferrari and hybrid technology, is it worth over $400,000 more?
There should be no surprise that the Corvette Z06 is such a big deal in the United States.
