The Boeing 707 is an extremely iconic and important plane.
First flown in 1957, the 707 was the first aircraft Boeing Commercial Airplanes produced.
The airliner enjoyed remarkable longevity, with its last commercial flight coming in April 2013.
Now, one YouTuber has had the chance to fly the last ever passenger Boeing 707.

Big old jet airliner: Flagship aircraft serves as trailblazer of the skies
Boeing is, arguably, the biggest name in the world of the skies.
William E. Boeing founded the company in Seattle, Washington on July 15th, 1916.
Over the next 30 years, the company established itself as one of the pioneering forces in the world of aviation.

In the early 1950s, ocean liners, such as the SS United States, ruled luxury travel.
However, the American company – owing to the success of the 707 – helped pioneer the Jet Age.
YouTuber flies on final passenger 707
Now, nearly 80 years after initially being released, a YouTuber has flown on the final passenger model.
Sam Chui, who runs a channel of the same name, covers all things flight-related.
And recently, he jumped at the chance to hop on the final commercial model.
The last 707 passenger plane was flown by Saha Airlines in Iran.
The YouTuber explained that he had actually flown 12 times on this particular plane.
His first ever flight was from Tehran to Kish with Saha Airlines.
Sam recalls memories of flying on the Boeing 707
Sam’s video serves as a fitting tribute to a trailblazing piece of engineering.
He outlined his last flight on the Saha Airlines aircraft before the plane was retired.
Behind Sam was a group of Iraqi pilgrims who had never flown on a plane before.

Sam pointed out their luck in making their first flight on such an historic plane.
The group were chanting a prayer in Arabic during take-off, which Sam found surreal.
Sam concluded his video by paying tribute to the Boeing, remembering it as ‘such a beautiful airplane.’
And he’s definitely not wrong.
