Porsche Design is back yet again, this time with a surprise for its extremely loyal fans — the Floating House prefab home.

It’s quite rare to see prefab homes that are this luxurious, but that’s not the case when Studio F.A. Porsche makes one.

The studio partnered with Griffner to create what they’re calling the ‘Floating House.’

But why does it have that name?

That’s because the prefab home’s first floor has black glass tiles, which make the second floor appear to be floating.

Now, that’s one way to make a statement.

Guess this is just how Porsche design does it.

This home might not be like an apartment in the Miami Porsche Tower, but it has its perks.

You get a much larger place all to yourself, for starters.

This prefabricated property is a striking blend of industrial design and modern architecture.

Similarly, the construction included the first floor’s facade made up of black tiles, which were attached by hand through a private patented process.

Luxury properties related to a popular car seem to be the trend these days, like this Tahoe estate that comes with a free Cybertruck.

When you look at it from a distance, the second story seems to be floating.

However, the outside appearance is not the only remarkable quality of the Floating House.

It’s brimming with luxury on the inside, too.

You will notice a ‘monumental entrance door’ measuring 8.7 feet tall when you enter the house.

There’s a light design element visible throughout the prefab.

Further, the humble floating house has an expansive lounging area and patio.

There are also ambient accent lights in most areas.

To be fair, the interior is ideal for a minimalist Porsche fan.

A garage sits outside, where you can comfortably park a Porsche, like the 911 Turbo S.

The Floating House will set you back a cool $1.5 million.

That’s certainly a step up from buying a full spec’ d-out car from the brand, but it might be all right for a true fan of Studio F.A. Porsche.
