This Boeing BBJ 737 is one of the largest private aircraft ever made.
The 737 is one of the most common airliners in the world, but it’s not every day you get to see one converted into a private aircraft.
It’s also one of the most expensive private jets in the world.

As you can see in the video shared on YouTube by JetBay, the Boeing BBJ (Boeing Business Jet) 737 is one of the largest private jets in the world this side of Air Force One, which is based on a Boeing 747.
For reference, a 737 can seat up to 230 people.
So imagine using the space you’d normally need for 230 passengers to accommodate up to 19 people.
The plane is fully customizable.
This varies a lot depending on the model but, broadly speaking, you can create up to three or four separate spaces for your Boeing BBJ 737.
For example, you can have a bedroom, office space and a living area.
Depending on the model, you’ve got up to 15 hours of range, which means you can go from anywhere in the world to (nearly) anywhere else.
But it isn’t cheap.
You need at least $100 million to buy one.
These people actually own a private Boeing
Theoretically, BBJ will convert any Boeing airliner into a private jet if you’ve got enough money.
In practice, that almost never happens.
Even billionaires like Cristiano Ronaldo and Elon Musk use a ‘proper’ business jet instead of an ex-airliner turned into one.
But there are exceptions.
Drake, for example, uses a Boeing 767 that he got for free (!).
John Travolta has also owned several Boeing aircraft that are ordinarily used as cargo jets or airliners.
Among others, he’s owned a 707 that Australian airline Qantas gave him as part of a deal when he joined the company as brand ambassador.
The difference between Drake and Travolta is that the Drake is a passenger on his own jet, whereas Travolta can actually fly it.
