There’s nothing as cool as this 1:8 scale Ferrari 499P model, and it’s being handled with the utmost care because it is so fragile.
The real life version of the Ferrari is anything but fragile – it’s driven Le Mans and the FIA World Endurance Championship, and it’s been the car of choice for some true racing superstars.
The Ferrari 499P was designed under the Le Mans Hypercar rules and it looks as though the model has managed to keep all of the tiny details that the hypercar boasts.
While this little car model can’t be speeding around on the racetrack, it’s still one of the coolest things we’ve ever seen.

A Ferrari 499P in every way but 1:8 scale
YouTube channel Amalgam Collection shared a video of them showing off a Ferrari 499P.
But things aren’t quite as they seem. Instead of hitting the racetrack, this Ferrari 499P, this is actually a small model.
One that’s identical to the real thing in every way, apart from its size, and also the lack of a working engine.
This 1:8 scale model was developed using the original designs, paint codes and material specifications from Ferrari, copying the original one exactly.
The model even features opening doors, allowing us to see inside the cockpit, as well as a removeable engine cover.
The little model is very fragile, unlike the actual Ferrari 499P, which is a true bastion of supercar royalty.
What’s the original supercar like?
The Ferrari 499P was the #50 supercar driven to victory by legends like Miguel Molina, Antonio Fuoco and Nicklas Nielsen.
This car featured heavily in the 2024 Le Mans race and a winning car deserves a winning model.
And that’s exactly what the Amalgam Collection has delivered.
These models are limited edition and available to purchase on the company’s website.
So if you’ve got a spare £16,500 lying around and love the Ferrari 499P, you know where to get one.
