A 1961 Cadillac hearse that’s been transformed into a monster truck recently appeared for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
Currently listed for $100,000, this remarkable Cadillac retains its hearse body, but it now sits on a monster truck chassis.
No longer does it function as a hearse either, as the rear of the truck is filled with extra seating for up to 14 people in total.
We aren’t sure who would want to pay $100,000 for a vehicle like this, but we have a feeling that someone will snap this up.

The Cadillac hearse has become a full-on monster truck
The hearse is listed for sale in Pennsylvania and is converted from a 1961 Cadillac.
Under the hood, the hearse is a true monster truck, thanks to its massive 454 Chevrolet V8 mounted between the axles.
The modifications have earned the truck the nickname Phantom.
That is apt given its menacing appearance.
The body has retained much of its original design, including the front grille and headlights plus rear fins.

According to the listing, the truck has Hunsacker seats and retractable seat belts for the occupants.
The listing also says you go into the truck via a rear door.
The hearse now sits on a full-tube chassis, complete with a roll cage.
The hearse has had major suspension changes
As well as the basic structure, the hearse monster truck has had some major suspension tweaks.
It now has a four-link suspension setup, complete with King coil-over socks.
A new Allison 545 transmission is now in truck, and it has light-weight wheels to try and keep the weight down as much as possible.
The tires are giant full-tread ones from Firestone, with the seller stating these are in excellent condition.
The seller also says that the truck is ‘dependable and ready to run’, perhaps indicating you could daily drive it if you wanted to!

Despite the fact it can fit up to 14 people, it’s unlikely this is a very practical car.
If you do want to buy it, be prepared to pay more than you’d expect.
The vehicle is currently listed for $100,000 and the seller doesn’t state if they would accept offers for the truck.
