This guy snapped up a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 for just $2,000 and discovered a cool surprise inside.
The rare 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 was sold sight unseen but was in surprisingly good condition.
It had clean paintwork and no serious dents, dings, or scratches.
But it was what he found when he opened the door that was most surprising.

The Dodge Challenger is powered by a HEMI
Buying a vehicle sight unseen brings a certain level of risk – you can ask the man who spent $130,000 on a Plymouth Superbird and soon discovered it was riddled with problems, or the guy who flew from the US to Germany to pick up his dream 1966 Corvette only to find the car in parts when he arrived.
However, occasionally, a lucky buyer will stumble upon a real bargain, which certainly seems to be the case with this 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8.

The vehicle was snapped up by the guys from Atlantic Beach Customs who were pleasantly surprised when it arrived.
“It’s so awesome,” Brandon from Atlantic Beach Customs said.
“It’s cooler in person than the pictures look.”
The Challenger is powered by a coveted HEMI engine and has just 53,000 miles on the clock – not bad, right?
It’s also in pretty good shape, with its HEMI-orange paintwork mostly free from scratches and scuffs.
It was a similar story inside.
The car’s leather and Alcantara wrapped seats were in great condition, particularly the ones in the back that looked like they had never been used.
It was hiding a cool surprise inside
When Brandon and the team bought the car at auction, it was listed as an automatic.
But one look inside the Dodge Challenger revealed it had a six-speed manual shifter – making the already cool car a lot more fun for the driver.
The listing also mentioned that there was some ‘mechanical damage’, but Brandon was yet to determine what that actually meant.
A task made more difficult by the fact that the battery was dead.
However, all in all, Brandon is pretty pleased with his purchase – and it’s easy to see why.
