The next era of prime Japanese manufacturing is upon us as the 2026 Honda Pilot range has leveled up with all five models getting massive new touchscreens, a quieter cabin, and fresh interior styling.

While the Civic, Accord, and CR-V have proven to be incredibly popular, affordable cars for Honda in 2025, the luxury Pilot fleet has been quietly undergoing some major year-on-year improvements.

Now, it’s here with its best upgrade yet.

With a range of new features to launch it into the tech age, the 2026 Honda Pilot is better than ever.

2026 Honda Pilot gets upgrade packages for TrialSport and Elite models

It’s been a busy time in the Honda factory this winter, especially in the US, where over 250,000 cars have been called back into the workshop for some tweaks.

But that doesn’t mean the company is resting on its laurels in terms of innovation.

In fact, the 2026 Honda Pilot was recently unveiled, and in today’s news, we revealed its upgrades.

Starting off, the interior is getting a complete revamp to bring it into the modern era.

The touchscreen infotainment system will get a 37 per cent boost in size, making it the most accessible platform the Japanese carmaker has ever deployed.

The increased entertainment comes hand in hand with the cabin being much quieter, with the noise-cancelling padding bringing the outside sounds down by up to three decibels; combine that with your funky screen and a wicked Spotify playlist, and your long-haul journeys will completely transform.

On the exterior, roof racks will be added to all five models (TrialSport, Elite, Touring, Sport, and EX-L), while a new front grille design really shows its teeth.

“Even with a segment-leading vehicle like the Honda Pilot, our engineers never stop improving,” Honda Assistant Vice President of Sales Jessika Laudermilk said.

“From bold new styling and advanced technology to a more refined driving experience, the 2026 Pilot delivers meaningful upgrades inside and out – continuing to set the benchmark in the midsize three-row SUV category.”

What’s next for the Japanese brand?

The new 2026 Honda Pilot range isn’t the only new release from the Japanese manufacturer.

Just this week, the company revived the popular Prelude series with a new hybrid model.

The new hybrid comes in the wake of the brand pulling the plug, literally, on its EV SUV range, much like many other manufacturers who have halted the advancement of electric cars following the end of the tax credits.

And, if all else fails in the car industry, then the brand is already making quite the explosive start to life in the rocket business
