You’ve no doubt been hearing a lot about the $400,000,000 Boeing 747 gifted by Qatar to become the new Air Force One, but have you seen inside it yet?
Well, as you might expect, it’s an impressive display.
You’ve heard of planes that are fit for a king, no doubt.

Taking a look onboard the $400,000,000 Boeing 747 that the whole world’s been talking about
We’ve seen our fair share of luxurious planes in the possession of world leaders.
You have King Willem-Alexander from the Netherlands flying himself around in a Boeing 737.
Over in Thailand, the King and Queen have made Boeings a family affair by serving as pilot and co-pilot.

But if there’s been one plane that’s dominated headlines this year, it’s undoubtedly the $4 billion Boeing 747 gifted to the US by Qatar.
The figures attached to this plane have been staggering – converting it into Air Force One will cost an astonishing $1,000,000,000.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what a juggernaut news story this was.
But one aspect of this story that has been relatively overlooked is the plane’s interior.
And that’s not fair, really, as this is an exceptional interior.

Designed by French interior design firm Alberto Pinto Cabinet, this plane is decked out with suites, staterooms, lounges, and dining rooms, the Daily Mail reported.
Throughout the corridors of the plane, reflective gold-colored walls are dominant, bearing a striking resemblance to previous properties owned by President Trump.
This plane very much looks like a workplace, but it also has an air of luxury relaxation around it.
If you’d look at these pictures without context, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were looking at the layout of a superyacht.
When will this plane from Qatar officially begin duty as Air Force One?
It’s all well and good to get a look at the plane, but the question remains – when will it be ready to enter duty as Air Force One?
Whilst President Trump declared it would be ready for use by 2026, aviation experts weren’t so convinced.
Due to the many security considerations that have to be taken into account, the project will need a lot of time.

“It is absolutely going to be ready to start flying in February,” Richard Aboulafia, a managing director at AeroDynamic Advisory, told CNN.
“And instantly transmitting every onboard conversation to anybody around the world who has a connection to it,” he said, explaining that while airworthy, it wouldn’t be as secure as a President might need it to be.
“Overhauling systems, overhauling engines, doing what you need to do to get the plane operationally ready. That’s an extremely different job than scanning it for security risks, very different.”
So, it is anyone’s guess when we’ll see the new Air Force One in all its glory.
