An American YouTuber has collected some rather spectacular drone footage of a vast junkyard in Southern Colorado that has been hosting over 5,000 vintage cars since the 1960s.
The yard, located in Lamar, belongs to Woller Auto Parts. Thanks to the dry Southern Colorado climate, many of the cars are in excellent condition.
Sadly, the yard was closed when YouTuber Dolloff Antiques Garage visited.
However, he was able to capture a large amount of drone footage, showcasing some of the cars and trucks in the yard and getting up close with the vehicles nearest to the perimeter fence.

Closeups reveal the condition of some of the vintage vehicles
Early in the video, a closeup shows off the condition of some of the cars and trucks in the yard.
A Ford pickup truck and yellow Chevrolet Vega are remarkably well preserved, and the Vega is in excellent condition. Thanks to the Colorado climate, there is almost no rust on any of the vehicles.
A few vehicles in Woller’s yard haven’t fared as well, such as a Chevrolet C10 pickup that looks to have been rolled at some point.
Others, such as a bright yellow two-door square-body Buick, look nearly 100% complete. The cars are all here for spare part acquisition, but given their preservation, many could become someone’s restoration project.
The drone footage shows the vastness of the Colorado collection
With the drone in the air, we can see just how many cars and trucks are in this yard. Arguably, it gives us a better idea of the collection size than any walkaround would.
The collection is very well organized, and the YouTuber says that the majority of the vehicles are either from the 1950s or the 1990s. It’s an eclectic mix, too, ranging from Chevrolet coupes to some old Ford pickups.

Muscle car fans will be excited to see vehicles such as the Chevrolet Camaro dotted around the yard.
Very few cars in the junkyard look incomplete, with so many appearing that you could get into them today and drive away from the yard. The climate in Southern Colorado has undoubtedly played its part in preserving all of these vehicles.
